Anushka is an actor and producer from Bollywood. She is among the most highly paid actor in Bollywood, and has been awarded for her performance. Nush is her clothing brand for women. She also serves as an ambassador for Nush and also owns various other brands. Forbes Magazine also featured her. Anushka Sharma's parents are Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is a colonel retd. Anushka's mother is a housewife. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother, who was in the Merchant Navy is now a film director. Anushka Sharma graduated at the Army School, Bangalore and completed her an undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka Sharma has a master's education in Economics. Anushka Sharma was not looking to become an actress. Instead She wanted to become a fashion model or a writer. Anushka, after completing her education in Mumbai she enrolled in Elite Model Management. She received training from style expert Prasad Bidapa. Anushka's first time as a fashion model was in the year 2017, in which she was a model for Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week after which she was chosen by Rodricks to be a model at the Spring Summer 2007 collection. Anushka Sharma has been involved with a number of campaigns for brands since her Lakme Fashion Week debut. This includes campaigns for Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka started auditioning films and enrolled in an acting school along with her professional career as models. Anushka began her career acting in the year 2008 with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka Sharma took one day to prepare for her screen test and didn't want to make an impractical version. Then she was commissioned for three movies with the Yash Raj Films label. In the film, she played a young woman who was married to a middle age man (the part Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. In 2010, Anushka Sharma was in the film 'Badmash Company' alongside Shahid Kapoor Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang. The movie received mixed reviews. Anushka was in a movie named Band Baaja Baaraat, starring Ranveer, where she played the role of a middle class, who establishes her own wedding-planning company. The film received a positive review. Anushka finished her deal of three films with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
